We offer a hassle-free process to either exchange the item or provide a full refund because your peace of mind is important to us.
Return Policy
To ensure a smooth and satisfactory experience, we have established the following conditions for returns:
Product Quality
Returns are accepted if the product is found to be defective, including issues related to quality or freshness, or if it is deemed unfit for consumption.
Return Timeframe
For fresh and frozen products: Returns must be initiated within 3 days of the purchase date.
Proof of Purchase
The original invoice corresponding to the purchased product must be presented to facilitate the return process.
Condition of the Product
To be eligible for a return, the product must be as intact as possible and returned in its original packaging. We advise you to inspect the product thoroughly before any preparation or consumption. Please note that products which have been cooked, processed, or otherwise altered post-purchase are not eligible for return.
Repayment Terms
Upon successful fulfillment of the above-mentioned return conditions, if you opt for a refund instead of an exchange, Somerled Seafood will process the reimbursement for the returned product(s). The refund amount will correspond to the value of the returned item(s) and will be issued using the same payment method used at the time of the original purchase.
Online purchase terms
For orders valued at $150 or more, we prioritize security and customer safety. Therefore, upon the pickup or delivery of such orders, we require the presentation of the original credit card used for the purchase along with a valid form of identification. The name and billing address on this identification must match those of the payment method used.
Pre-Ordering Process
At Somerled Seafood, we offer the option to pre-order products scheduled for future arrival. However, please be aware that the arrival dates of our fresh produce are subject to change due to the dynamic nature of fishing conditions and other external factors. These dates are not guaranteed and may be adjusted.
Communication and Flexibility
Should there be any changes to the arrival date of your pre-ordered items, we will promptly notify you. In the event that a scheduled arrival is canceled, we provide two options for your convenience: a full refund of your order, or store credit for future purchases, based on your preference.
Cancellation and Refund Policy for Online Orders
Understanding the perishable nature of our products, we offer flexibility for online order cancellations. If you need to cancel your order and request a refund, please ensure that this is done at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup date.
Policy for Unclaimed Orders
At Somerled Seafood, we understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. Given the perishable nature of our products, we unfortunately cannot offer refunds for orders that are not picked up as scheduled. However, we are committed to accommodating our customers’ needs. If you find yourself unable to pick up your order on the designated day, rest assured that we will responsibly store your items, keeping them cool and fresh until you are able to collect them.
